The award winning Brighton Beach Boys perform some classics tunes from their vast collection of shows, including Beach Boys, David Bowie and The Beatles. Good Vibrations, to Hey Jude, to Lets Dance!
The Brighton Beach Boys were formed in late 2001 as a ten-piece tribute band playing the best of Brian Wilson's Music, from the earliest hits like "Surfin' USA' through to "Pet Sounds', the legendary ""Smile' and beyond.
A love of this incredible music saw the band give up their precious time to grapple with some of the most difficult harmonies and arrangements ever written in popular music. The award winning band, specialises in recreating albums from The Beach Boys, The Beatles and David Bowie. They have performed at International Beatles Week in Liverpool at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall to over 2000 people, France, and Windsor Race course festival and Brighton Fringe amongst many others.
"Heart-stoppingly gorgeous ...the first half of the show covered Pet Sounds, and the Pyschedelic Love Orchestra's seven singers, keyboard players, five-strong string and brass sections and two percussionists did incredibly well to replicate the Grand Canyon-esque sonic depths of Brian Wilson's masterpiece - it helps that there was a vast amount of musical talent on stage and the performers were clearly having a ball themselves. Next up was Sgt. Pepper's, which not even The Beatles attempted live. Again, the performance was a triumph - perhaps even edging the first half." - The Argus.
